I wanted to take a few moments of your time and tell you all the things I’m thankful for this year.
I’m thankful to have so many wonderful people in my life: fans, friends and family who have stuck by me through thick and thin (you know who you are) and met so many great authors that have helped me along this wild ride I’ve been on for the last 7 months.
I’m thankful for my health. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in April of 2011 and finishing my treatments and reconstructive surgeries this year, it’s amazing to see light at the end of the tunnel. Although I will be seeing an oncologist the rest of my life, it’s a small price to pay to be healthy.
I’m thankful to be able to do something that I love. Even there are days I want to bang my head against the keyboard, I’m blessed to be able to do something that I love to do.
As 2013 looms ahead of us, I look forward to another year with my readers, fans, friends and the characters that inspire me. The new year brings new hopes, dreams, new opportunities and new beginnings. I hope that you join me on my ongoing adventure with Josie & Stefan and the new adventures of Nick & Savannah.
